Arriving & leaving
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
We will verify your insurance information.

The anesthesiologist will speak with you about the anesthesia you will receive.

The nurse will discuss what you can expect during your time at the Surgery Center.

The nurse will also review your ability to care for yourself at home post-operatively.
DURING YOUR VISIT
The Surgery Center’s visitor policy allows one ADULT family member to stay with the patient during his or her recovery period.

We encourage your relative or friend to remain with you at the Surgery Center for your entire stay with us.

No one under the age of 16 will be permitted to visit any of the patient care areas.
WHEN YOU LEAVE
If you have received any anesthesia other than local anesthesia, we require that you have a responsible adult to listen to your medical instructions and drive you home.

We will provide you with instructions for what to do at home.

When you are discharged, we will escort you to your vehicle.

We encourage you to arrange for someone to be with you at home throughout the night.
POST-OPERATIVE
We will call you the day after your surgery to check on your progress and ask about your stay.

Please follow your doctor’s post-operative instructions carefully.
